Funeral for Audrey O. Smith, 86, of Hartselle was Wednesday, May 4, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Agee officiating.
Burial was in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Smith died Tuesday, May 3, 2005, in Moulton. He was born April 24, 1919, in Lawrence County to Jones and Madgie Smith. He was a brick mason and a cattle farmer and enjoyed rabbit hunting and raising beagle dogs. He was a World War II veteran and a recipient of the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and Silver Star. He was a member of the Methodist church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Speegle Smith, and his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his loving caregivers, Diane and Mike Kelly; best friends, Sherman and Ann Kirby; eight nieces; and three nephews.
Pallbearers were Sherman Kirby, Wayne Hicks, Billy Naylor, Chris Wallace, Johnny Fulks and Allison Smith.
