Murray Allan Hightower

Funeral for Murray Allan Hightower, 70, of Decatur was Thursday, March 31, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Caudle officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mr. Hightower died Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at Parkway Medical Center. He was born April 4, 1934, in Guyse County, Tenn., to Dallas Hightower and Carrie Elizabeth Wardlow Hightower. He was preceded in death by a son, Stacey Hightower.
He is survived by three sons, Ricky Hightower and Kenneth Hightower, both of Hartselle, and Chris Hightower of Moulton; two daughters, Sandy Russell and Penny Cottingham, both of Decatur; two sisters, Mary Sanders of Hartselle and Ilene Coke of San Bernardino, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
