March 15, 1955 -Ross V. Ford died. He served as principal of Morgan County High School during the 1953-54 term. Before this he was principal of Falkville High School.
March 15, 1955 -Morgan County's number one 4-H Club entertainer is 13-year-old MCHS student, Skipper Drinkard. His first place victory over 24 other finalists puts him in the state finals at Auburn in July. He won with a sax medley of "Tenderly" and "I Don't Hurt Anymore."
March 16, 1955 -Rev. Darryl Harris began preaching a revival at West Hartselle Baptist Church tonight. The church is located on Highway 33 (Danville Road), one mile west of Hartselle.
