Funeral for Barbara H. James, 64, of Danville, was Tuesday, Nov. 23, at 10 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jack Bailey and Harold Thompson officiating.
Burial was in Forrest Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. James died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, at her residence. She was born Jan. 30, 1940, in Morgan County to Dan M. Harvey and Edith O. Wilbanks Harvey. She was retired from Danville Neel Elementary School, where she was the school librarian. She was a member of Danville Baptist Church. Mrs. James was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby James, and her father, Dan M. Harvey.
She is survived by one son, Dan L. James of Danville; one daughter, Beth Lambert of Hartselle; her mother, Edith O. Wilbanks Harvey of Danville; one sister, Kay Orr of Hartselle; and one granddaughter, Laura Hopson of Hartselle.
Pallbearers were David James, Judson James, Joe Fitzgerald, Freddie Stephenson, Jim Tanner and Steve Tanner.
