Long, Black to wed Nov. 6
George and Sissy Waddell of Hartselle and John and Pat Long, of Somerville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Johnna Marie Long, to Ron Black Jr. of Decatur, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Byhum of Huntsville and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Black Sr. of Decatur.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Hartselle High School and is employed with Parisian's Salon in Decatur. She is the granddaughter of Roy and Shirley McCurry and Shirley Waddell, all of Hartselle, and Lucille Long of Charlotte, N.C.
The groom-elect is a 2000 graduate of Decatur High School and is employed with Price Construction of Decatur. He is the grandson of Dorothy Black of Decatur and the late Morris Black. The wedding will be held Nov. 6 at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens.
Martin, Tucker announce plans
Janice Cradic of Falkville and Earl Cradic of Ohio announce the engagement of their daughter, Christine Marie Martin, to Jason Keith Tucker, son of Denna and Paul Tucker of Hartselle. Ms. Martin is also the stepdaughter of the late Earl Cradic.
The bride-elect is a 1996 graduate of Falkville High School and a 1999 graduate of Wallace State Community College with an associate's degree in health information management. She is the granddaughter of Dorothy Marchal of Ohio, the late Robert Marchal, and the late Anna and Robert Martin.
The groom-elect is a 1998 graduate of Hartselle High School and a 2003 graduate of Wallace State Community College with an associate's degree in electronic technology. He is the grandson of Joyce and Robert Wright of Hartselle.
The wedding is being planned for the spring of 2005.
