Funeral services for Harold "Smokey" Stover, 57, of Decatur , were held Saturday, July 17 at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Sandra Locke Godbey officiated. Burial was in Powell's Chapel Cemetery in Falkville.
Mr. Stover died Friday, July 16, 2004 at his residence. He was born November 11, 1946 to Adlie Oneal Stover and Lucille Stover. Mr. Stover served two tours in theVietnam War with the Army.
He is survived by his mother, Lucille Stover of Decatur; three brothers, Rev. Oneal Stover, Portage, IN, Robert Lee Stover, Drakesboro, KY and James Thomas Stover of Hartselle; four sisters, Linda Gail Swindle, Dunmor, KY and Patsy Jean Moore, Anita McCutcheon, and Mary Maxine Decker, all of Decatur.
Nephews served as pallbearers.
