Pastor Charles 'Chuck' Hanvey, Jr.

Funeral for Pastor Charles "Chuck" Hanvey Jr., 47, of Eva was Wednesday, June 30, at 2 p.m. at Rock Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Phil Waldrep officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Etha Cemetery.
Pastor Hanvey died Sunday, June 27, 2004, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born April 22, 1957, in Cullman to Charles and Barbara Hanvey. He was pastor of Rock Creek Baptist Church and was a millwright at Delphi.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Hanvey of Eva; two sons, Jason Hanvey and Jessie Hanvey and wife Kayla, all of Eva; his parents, Charles and Barbara Hanvey of Eva; three sisters, Nancy Graves and husband Greg of Hanceville, Sherri Swindall and husband Kevin of Fairview and Deeann Little and husband Brandon of Eva; the Widener family; and his church family at Rock Creek Baptist Church.
Pallbearers were Wyvaughn Smith, William Neal, Greg Holmes, Danny Baker, Steve Hall, Tom Walker, Phillip Terry and Stanley Hall.
