Eulalia Smith

Funeral for Eulalia Smith, 78, of Trinity, will be Friday, July 29, at 10 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Ripley officiating.

Graveside and burial will be in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park at 2 p.m.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 28, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith died Saturday, July 23, 2011, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born May 21, 1933, in Indiana to James Albert Bruce and Vera Bell Paul Bruce. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Percy Smith Sr. and a brother, Albert Ugene Bruce.

She is survived by four sons, James Albert Bruce, Marcelino Jose Bruce Sr., Juan Ramos Hernandez and Percy Brandon Smith Jr.; four daughters, Eulalia Burch, Juana Battista Smith, Rebecca Sue Griesemer and Vera Lee Smith; a brother, Sandy Paul Bruce; three sisters, Jacklyn Diane Lubinicki, Geraldine Rose Isbell and Rachel Irene Hurst; 35 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tony Burch, Edward May, Mike Burch, James Hagood, Jim Oettle, Anthony May and Larry Cooper.
