Funeral for Stella McCall Roberts, 96, of Hartselle was Friday, June 18, at 3 p.m. at Forrest Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jeri Hunt officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Roberts died Wednesday, June 16, 1004, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Nov. 7, 1907 in Morgan County to Yatman Alexander McCall and Hattie Ellen Denton McCall. She was a lifelong member of Forrest Chapel United Methodist Church and Gold Star Sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Petway Roberts; two brothers, Roy McCall and George Duncan McCall; and one sister, Aileena McCall.
She is survived by two daughters, Doris Roberts Douglas and husband, Paul Gene and Willodean Roberts King and husband Malcolm, all of Hartselle; one sister, Mary Frances McCall of Hartselle; and four grandchildren, Carol Dean, Donna King, Sandra Raines and Joy Haynes.
