Mrs. Grayce McBride Wasson, who passed away recently, was one of Hartselle's most gifted and popular teachers. She influenced for the good multiple generations of students.
1941 -May 13, Grayce and Phil Wasson are surely among Hartselle's happiest couples. This popular pair are now about to arrive at their four months' anniversary of wedded bliss.
1952 -May 13, The program on Hawaii which Mrs. Phil Wasson presented at a recent meeting of the Business Women's Circle of the First Baptist Church has been one of the most favorably commented upon in recent memory.
1944 -May 14, Mrs. Leo Barclift of Trinity was the guest recently of her sister and brother-in-law, Grayce and Phil Wasson.
1948 -May 15, Phil Wasson is expected to play an important role in the work of the Hartselle Rotary Club during the coming year. Mr. Wasson is part of a crucial leadership circle that also includes L. E. Roberts, M. H. Broom, E. E. Maddox, D. W. Mcneill, Dr. W. H. Block, M. H. Bradley, L. R. Palmer, and C. T. Cash.
1948 -May 16, Grayce Wasson, civics teacher at MCHS, has registered to attend an AEA conference in Talladega in the near future.
1937 -May 19, The Morgan County High School staff will be composed of a principal and nine faculty members during the coming school year. (The faculty includes Miss Lizzie Reed Penn, English, and Miss Grayce McBride, junior 2.)

1978 -May 19, The end of the current school year regrettably sees the retirement of one of Hartselle's most illustrious teachers, Mrs. Grayce Wasson. Mrs. Wasson has taught and taught exceedingly well numerous generations of Hartselle students.
2000 -May 19, Mrs. Phil Wasson is looking forward to attending the Tennessee Walking Horse Celebration this summer. Mrs. Wasson, an avid horse lover, has gone to each of these annual events since 1939.
