Cattlemen, Cattlewomen give awards at picnic

The Morgan County Cattlmen’s Association presented 10 $750 scholarships to college students from Morgan County during its annual picnic at Diamond S Farms in the Cotaco-Florette area. On hand for the presentation are, from left, Bailee Williams (the recipient of the Sherman Kirby Memorial Scholarship), Jessi Wallace, Chet Ellis (accepting for Ehren Trevor Vaden), Sean Keith Spurlin, Hunter McCaghren, Doyle Whitlow (accepting for Paden Stewart), Abby Frank Crow and Rodney Byrd.
