Tatum, Williams to wed July 16

Maggie Elizabeth Tatum and James Robert Williams have chosen July 16, 2011, for their wedding. The ceremony will be held at 6:00 in the evening at St. James United Methodist Church in Florence with Dr. John Williams III officiating. A reception will follow at Turtle Point Yacht & Country Club.

Future Williamses

The bride-elect is the daughter of Darrell and Nancy Tatum of Florence. She is the granddaughter of Jim and Margaret Tatum of Hartselle and Donna Cook and the late Donnie Cook of Florence.

Miss Tatum is a 2005 graduate of Wilson High School. She graduated magna cum laude from Troy University in 2009 with a bachelor of science in marketing and in 2011 received a master’s degree in general management from Troy University. She is a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority.

The prospective groom is the son of Johnny and Pam Williams of Green Cove Springs, Fla. He is the grandson of Ed Weathers and the late Ann Weathers and Bob and Janet Williams, all of Jacksonville, Fla.

Mr. Williams is a 2005 graduate of Trinity Christian Academy. He received a bachelor of science degree in general business in 2009 from Troy University, where he was also a member of the the football team. He received a master’s degree in general management from Troy in 2010. He is currently vice president of Williams and Rowe in Jacksonville, Fla.
