Magnolia Clemons Shadrix

Funeral for Magnolia Clemons Shadrix, 85, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Brown officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Shadrix died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born July 16, 1918, in Morgan County to Andrew Jackson Clemons and Mary Elizabeth McCutchen Clemons. She was a member of New Center Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Miles "Buck" Shadrix; her parents; seven sisters; and two brothers.
She is survived by two daughters, Sarah Howard and husband Loyd of Hartselle and Faye Hopper and husband Aldred of Decatur; one brother, Miles Clemons; eight grandchildren; Steve Howard, Tammy Tallent and husband Clay, Joan Bevis and husband John, Connie Childers and husband Barry, Teresa Guire and husband Billy, Gary Howard , Kathy Kreps and Jayne Howard and wife Gail; 14 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Brian Wilbanks, Bobby Hunter, Andrew Guire, Brad Guire, T.J. Orr and Brandon Hornbuckle.
