Funeral for Cora Irene Davis, 84, of Hartselle was Saturday, Jan. 17, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Foreman officiating.
Burial was in Shoal Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Aug. 3, 1919, in Blount County to Enoch Benjamin Hayes and Effie Rubitie Russell Hayes.
She is survived by her husband, W. E. Davis of Hartselle; one son, David W. Davis Sr. of Hartselle; one daughter, Margaret Posey of Rossville, Ga.; one sister, Ruby Clem of Trinity; six grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Posey, James Posey, David W. Davis Jr., Michael Liles, Tommy Davis, Mark Curtis and Wendell Parrish.
