Hawks and Lady Hawks pick up wins on the road

The Danville Hawks and Lady Hawks had a perfect week leading up to Thanksgiving. The Hawks picked up two wins, while the Lady Hawks also picked up two wins.

Boys
Danville 74, Clements 43

A.J. Holladay scored 19 to lead three Hawks in double figures in their 74-43 win over Clements in the Clements Thanksgiving Classic. Ben Ellenburg added 17, while Nate West had 15.

Danville 66, Tharptown 43

The Hawks improved to 5-0 with a 66-43 win over Tharptown.

Girls
Danville 63, Tharptown 38

Adily Alberti led Danville (2-3) with 22 points and five steals in the Lady Hawks’ 63-38 win over Tharptown. Reagan Prater had 12 points, six steals and five rebounds, while Madalyn McCreless added nine points.

Danville 60, Hokes Bluff 36

Alberti had 16 points, four rebounds and two steals in Danville’s 60-38 win over Hokes Bluff at Supreme Courts in Guntersville. Prater added 14 points, while Ella Kate Tidwell had eight. McCreless and Kirstyn Robinson each scored seven.
