Falkville Fire and Rescue responds To storm damage calls

The Falkville Fire and Rescue Department crews had a long and busy night March 25. They went out on calls in the Oak Ridge and Danville communities assisting multiple agencies with overwhelming call volume due to the extensive storm damage. The crews assisted with calls ranging from downed trees, search and assist residents trapped in structures and car wrecks. The other agencies involved included, Danville Fire and Rescue, Oak Ridge Volunteer Fire Department Neel Fire Department, Punkin Center Volunteer Fire Department, Mud Tavern Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Morgan County Sheriffs Office, Morgan County 911 and also Morgan County Emergency Management Agency.

Tara Green Morrow, expresses her appreciation to the special ladies at Danville Neel School as they celebrate Happy National Paraprofessional Day . Tara says that they are blessed and thankful for the following ladies and all they do for their students.

Danville-Neel also recently honored their school librarian, Jada Keeton, and assistant principal Jill Jones Brown, during their respective appreciation weeks.
