Morgan schools announce pre-k registration

The pre-registration for the 2023-24 academic year will be held Jan. 15-March 15. To be part of the random drawing, children must be four years old on Sept. 1, 2023 and a citizen of Alabama. Tuition will be charged based on the number in each household and income using the Department of Health and Human Services guidelines. A random drawing will be held at 9 a.m. March 24 and a virtial link will be made available. Priority will be given to in-district students. Falkville Fire and Rescue has active year

Falkville Fire and Rescue had active 2022, responding to a total of 904 calls, including EMS-551, 94 fire calls, 215 motor vehicle calls, six hazmat calls and 25 weather-related calls. The Town of Falkville and surrounding areas express their thanks to their volunteers for their dedication in serving the community the past year. Falkville FFA works Cattlemen’s banquet

The Falkville FFA chapter members recently assisted with the annual Cattlemen’s banquet, helping serve approximately 120 Morgan County Cattlemen’s Association members and guests.
