Windows Wonderland winners announced

Winter Wonderland First Place Winner

Special to the Enquirer

The Windows Wonderland holiday window display contest, hosted by Main Street West Gallery, recently brought some extra sparkle to downtown Hartselle for the second year. Various merchants in downtown Hartselle participated in the holiday window display contest to invite holiday spirit and inspire locals and tourists alike to visit the festive displays while shopping local for Christmas.

This year’s judges were David Breland, CEO of the Decatur Train Depot Museum, Tammy Reist, CEO of Alabama Mountain Lakes Tourism Association and Lilly Beth Warner, Communications Director at Decatur-Morgan County Tourism. Decatur-Morgan County Tourism sponsored the first-place prize of $250, while an anonymous donor sponsored the second and third place prizes and honorable mentions.
Contest winners are: Greco Fiore Designs, first place, Mega Granite, second place and Urban Altered, third place. Zoey’s Downtown and Downtown Southern Sass received honorable mentions.
