Hartselle senior Slate Gargus signed with the Blue Mountain College soccer program in a ceremony this past Friday at Hartselle High School.

Gargus is a three-year starter for the Tigers’ soccer team and was an All-State honorable mention selection last season.

Blue Mountain College is located in Blue Mountain, Mississippi. The Toppers play in the Southern States Athletic Conference and are a member of the NAIA. They are currently 5-8-2 this season with a 2-3-2 record in SSAC play. They are coached by John Morgan, who is in his first year with the program.
