Title: “The Pallbearers Club”

Art Barbara, a seventeen-year-old kid of the 80’s starts an extracurricular club for small funerals called The Pallbearers Club. They are volunteer pallbearers for those grieving at such a difficult time. Art’s new friend thinks this new club is cool. She decides to bring a long her polaroid and snap some pictures of the corpses. Yes, people think that’s weird. So is her insane knowledge of notorious New England folklore that happens to involve digging up graves. Scary, strange things tend to happen when Art’s friend is around. However, Art thinks nothing of it. It’s just how his friend is.  

Years later, Art is writing a memoir of The Pallbearers Club. Just trying to make some sense out of his life and what happened all those years ago. When his old friend gets her hands on his manuscript, she takes issue with it. She starts making cuts, and Art is left blurring the lines of the supernatural and the mundane.
