Juvenile injured in hit and run

July 19, deputies with the Morgan County Sherrif’s Office were dispatched by Morgan County 911 to a residence on Powell Chappel Road where a female juvenile was hit by a vehicle, which then left the scene.

Deputies and EMS responded to the scene and located the injured female who was treated and transported by air to Huntsville Hospital. The juvenile is expected to recover from her injuries.

Falkville Police and Deputies located the vehicle and driver at Love’s Travel Center near I-65 in Falkville.

The driver, Logan Isacc Puckett, 21, of Cullman was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injury, a class C felony. He was booked in the Morgan Couny Jail and given a $2,500 bond.
