Hartselle Health Park welcomes new physician

Cullman Regional has welcomed a new health professional to its staff: board certified family care physician Dr. April Frater.

Frater completed her medical degree at University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts, West Indies. During her residency at the University of Alabama College of Community Health Sciences in Tuscaloosa, she earned the Internal Medicine Resident Award, Department of Pediatrics Recognition of Excellence Award and the Resiliency Award.

As a family care physician, Frater provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for chronic illnesses as well as health promotion and disease prevention. Frater will treat patients of all ages and provide services for asthma, bronchitis, chest pain, COPD, dermatology, diabetes, fatigue, heart failure, high cholesterol management, high blood pressure, flu, menopause, migraines, orthopedic injections, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, pediatric care, pneumonia, respiratory illness and vaccinations.
