Priceville remains undefeated with wins over East Limestone, Brewer

Priceville improved to 3-0 with wins over East Limestone and Brewer this past week.

Priceville 53, East Limestone 36

Lauren Hames had 14 points and seven rebounds to lead Priceville to a 53-36 win over East Limestone.

Kylie Hendrix scored nine points for the Bulldogs, while Zoey Benson finished with eight points and 10 rebounds.

Taylor Farrar led East Limestone with 13 points.

Priceville 49, Brewer 30

Priceville improved to 3-0 with a 19-point win over Brewer.

The Lady Bulldogs were led by Hames, who finished with a game-high 20 points. She also had four rebounds and five steals. Her sister, Leslie Hames, had 10 points. Olivia Gann had four points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Hendrix had seven rebounds, and Benson had seven steals.

Hope West led the Patriots (2-4) with 12 points and seven rebounds. Lilly Yancey had five points.

Vinemont 72, Falkville 69

The Lady Blue Devils battled from behind but fell short in their three-point loss to Vinemont.

Elli Lorance led three Falkville players in double digits with 16 points. She also had a game-high 10 rebounds. Ellie Cate Hill added 15, while Abbey Grace Tomlin had 13.

Falkville 54, JB Pennington 48

Falkville, trailing by seven at halftime, outscored Pennington by seven in the second half to send the game to overtime. However, the Lady Blue Devils pulled away in overtime, outscoring the Lady Tigers 11-5 for the 54-48 win.

Falkville was led by Ella Wallace, who finished with 17 points. Madison Stewart added 10 points, and Ellie Cate Hill had eight.

Falkville 63, Sumiton Christian 49

Ellie Cate Hill finished with 29 points, four rebounds and four steals to lead Falkville to a 14-point win over Sumiton Christian.

Ella Edmonson had seven points for the Lady Blue Devils (3-2), while Abbey Grace Tomlin and Allie Smith had six points each.

Brewer 53, West Morgan 18

The Lady Patriots picked up their second win of the season with a 53-18 win over West Morgan.

Hope West finished with a game-high 22 points and five rebounds to lead Brewer. Jacey Atkinson added 11 points, while Carrie Moseley had nine.

Brewer 43, Cold Springs 33

The Lady Patriots built a 32-20 halftime lead and held on for a 43-33 win over Cold Springs at the Encore Classic.

Brewer was led by West’s 16 points and seven rebounds. Chloe Romine added 12 points.

Ella Dickerson had 12 points to lead Cold Springs.
