Hartselle hires two new assistant coaches

The future for Hartselle athletics continues to be bright as championship-caliber coaches are joining the staff of the girls’ basketball team and football team.

Hartselle High School recently announced the hires of two new assistant coaches. Amber Deline will be the new assistant coach for the Lady Tigers basketball team, and Jerry Fulks will be the new defensive line coach for the Tigers football team.

Deline comes to Hartselle after two years in administration for Winfield City Schools. Prior to Winfield, she was the head coach for four years at James Clemens and six years at Oneonta.

While at Oneonta, she won state championships and won 20 or more games five times. She won 32 or more three times.

Fulks joins Coach Bryan Moore’s staff after spending the past nine seasons at Rogers, including the past three as head coach. Before becoming head coach, he was defensive coordinator for the Pirates, who won 23 games and advanced to the second round of the playoffs during the 2016 and 2017 seasons.
