Lady Tigers continue hot streak winning eight of ten

The Hartselle Lady Tigers had another busy week as they played ten games last week. They opened the week with a loss to Austin (12-7) before getting a double-header sweep of James Clemens (8-2, 8-5) and a senior night victory over Huntsville (5-2). They finished the week going 5-1 in the Hoover tournament on Friday and Saturday.

At Hoover, they defeated Fort Payne (11-1), John Carroll Catholic (14-5), Moody (3-1), 6A #2 Helena (3-2), and lost to 2A #2 Sumiton Christian (6-4).

Jada Henderson finished the week 9-for-23 with four home runs, 12 RBIs, and nine runs scored. Larissa Preuitt was 10-for-22 with three doubles, two RBIs, and 11 runs scored, while Kaelyn Jones had three doubles, eight RBIs, and seven runs. Karsi Lentz was 10-for 23 with a home run, eight RBIs, and eight runs, and Mary Elizabeth Booth was 8-0f-18 with two home runs, eight RBIs, and five runs scored.
