Tigers’ soccer improves to 14-3-1 with wins over Cullman, Brewer

The Tiger soccer team has improved to 14-3-1 with wins over Cullman and Brewer this past week.

Hartselle 2, Cullman 0

The Tigers netted goals in the first and second half to pick up the area win over rival Cullman. Scoring for Hartselle were Keegan Zanda and Dylan Vaughn. Nicholas Vaughn had eight saves in earning the shutout in goal for the Tigers.

Hartselle 8, Brewer 0

Zanda continued his impressive play for the Tigers, scoring six goals in leading Hartselle to the 8-0 win over Brewer.

Also scoring for Hartselle were Eli Moore and Jacob Cody.

Nicholas Vaughn picked up the shutout in goal for the Tigers.

Zanda has now scored 50 goals and has 13 hat-tricks this season to lead the Tigers. He is the top goal-scorer in the state and the nation for the spring 2021 season. He has signed with the University of Mobile to continue his soccer career.
