Officers stopped a vehicle on Milner Street in Hartselle for a traffic violation March 1. The occupants of the vehicle were Demetrius Dushawn Johnson, 25, of Hartselle; Ashley Lashae Woods, 33, of Hartselle; and Kevin Lee Sharpley, 50, of Decatur, according to police.  

Officers reportedly located almost 15 grams of methamphetamine, almost 4 grams of cocaine and a handgun during the traffic stop.  

Agents with the Morgan County Drug Enforcement Unit responded to the scene. All of the occupants were arrested for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, among other charges.
