Freshman lead Falkville girls to a 74-28 win over Sumiton Christian

The Falkville girls rolled to a 74-28 win over Sumiton Christian on Tuesday.

Four freshmen combined for 33 points in leading the Blue Devils to victory. Ellie Cate Hill led the way with a game-high 15 points, while Allie Smith added 10 points, Kenya Roberson had six and Abbey Grace Tomlin scored two.

Falkville (5-2) jumped out to a 19-7 lead and extended it to 34-15 by halftime. They outscored the Eagles 40-13 in the second half to complete the victory.

Sydnee Fitzgerald, 11 points, and Makenzie Veal, nine points, saw limited minutes as the Blue Devils controlled the game from the start.
