Morgan deputies responded to the 100 block of Guy Roberts Road in unincorporated Hartselle Nov. 14 in response to a call – and their response ended in one arrest.

Callers had reported a burglary and a shooting into an occupied residence in that area of Guy Roberts Road.

Deputies said when they arrived, the suspect was identified, located and talked into surrendering to authorities.

Danny Lee Bagwell, 38, of Hartselle was arrested on felony charges of burglary in the first degree and shooting into an occupied dwelling.

Bagwell was taken into custody after a brief standoff and transported to the Morgan County Jail with bond pending.
