Morgan agents arrest six on drug charges

Six people are in custody on drug-related charges after Morgan County Sheriff’s Office authorities conducted a search warrant at a Somerville residence last week. 

Sept. 8 agents with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant in the 700 block of Taylor Circle in Somerville, atop Brindlee Mountain. 

Upon arrival, agents made contact with and detained numerous subjects. During the search, agents reported locating methamphetamine, hydrocodone, lorazepam and assorted drug paraphernalia on the premises

Agents arrested and charged Patricia Annette Steele, 62, of Somerville, with trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in illegal drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, with bond set at $20,300; Roger Daniel Smith Jr., 37, of Union Grove, with unlawful possession of a controlled substance–methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and loitering in a drug house, with bond set at $1,600; and ️Timothy Shane King, 43, of Joppa, with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and loitering in a drug house, with bond set at $1,300.

Additionally, Savannah Taelyr Reeves, 27, of Arab, William Joshua Gill, 35, of Somerville, and Nakita Lasha Cook, 23, of Lacey’s Spring, were also charged with loitering in a drug housebond set at $300.
