Police arrest Eva man on drug charges

Agents with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit and Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division executed a search warrant July 22 at the residence of Kevin Lee Alexander aka “Headrush,” located in the 100 block of Murphees Road in Eva.

This investigation came about after the MCSO patrol deputy assigned to the Eva community and other patrol deputies gathered hours of intel about possible drug activity and forwarded it to the Drug Enforcement Unit.

Kevin Lee Alexander, 55, of Eva was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was then transported to the Morgan County Jail and booked with a bond set at $1,300.
