AHSAA announces All-State volleyball teams 

Hartselle and Morgan County are well represented on the 2019 Alabama High School Volleyball Coaches Association All-State teams, announced Dec. 2. 

Class 6A 

Lillyanna Cartee and Hailey Holshouser were named to the 6A First Team following the Lady Tigers record-setting season. They helped lead Hartselle to a school-record 68 wins and a trip to the state semifinals. The Lady Tigers finished the season ranked No. 3 in the AL.com High School Volleyball Rankings.  

Class 5A 

Brewer’s Leisha Steger and Sela Gaddy were named to the 5A First Team. They helped to lead Brewer to the North Regional and 40 wins during the 2019 campaign. 

Class 4A 

Priceville was well-represented on the All-State teams, with four players being selected. Hollee Mason and Madalynn Owen were named to the First Team, while Abigail Garrison was named to the Second Team, and Katrina Rotermund was named to the Honorable Mention team.  

Priceville finished the season ranked No. 9 in the AL.com High School Volleyball Rankings.
