ASWA All-State Softball Teams include local players

Brewer, Danville, Falkville and Priceville all had players named to the 2019 ASWA All-State Softball Teams that were announced June 7.

Brewer’s Madisen Adams, a senior, was named to the 5A First Team as a catcher. She has signed to play for Wallace State Community College.

Danville’s Emma Broadfoot, a junior, was named to the 4A First Team as a designated hitter, while teammate Blaine Godfrey, a seventh-grader, was named to the Second Team as a pitcher.

Priceville’s Destinee Hargrove, a senior, was named to the First Team as an outfielder, while teammate Reagan Walter, a sophomore, was named to the First Team as a catcher.

Hargrove has signed to play for Calhoun Community College.

Falkville sophomores Sydnee Fitzgerald, a pitcher, and Makenzie Veal, a first baseman, were named to the 1A Second Team.
