Parks and Recreation to hold Hometown Hero Day

Hartselle Parks and Recreation will hold a Hometown Hero Day July 2 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. The event will take place at the Sparkman softball fields parking lot and will represent various agencies throughout Hartselle and Morgan County.

Participants will be able to meet with the different agency representatives and see all the emergency vehicles in person. The event is free and registration is not required. Among the participating agencies are the Hartselle Police Department, Hartselle Fire Department, Hartselle Street Department, Hartselle Utilities, Lifeguard Ambulance Services, Morgan County Sheriff’s Department, Morgan County Rescue Squad and the Alabama National Guard.
