The sounds of summer will be ringing out at E.A.R.T.H. Park this summer.
The Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring outdoor concerts throughout the summer. The concerts will be held at the recently completed pavilion at the park.
The concerts will kick off June 5 at 7 p.m. with Johnny Whitley and Company performing oldies, country, rock and roll, big band and gospel favorites.
On June 12, Tina Turner impersonator Dorothy Cole will take the stage at 7 p.m.
On June 19, country artist Jeff Whitlow will perform at 7 p.m. and country artist Lauren Stroud at 7:45 p.m.
On June 26, Dam Skippy will perform classic rock and roll starting at 7 p.m.
Chamber Director Susan Hines said the rest of the summer schedule will be announced at a later date and that numerous people have contacted her about performing.
Hines said the concerts will be held every Thursday night starting at 7 p.m. The chamber will provide lights, electrical hookups and the pavilion, but will not provide sound equipment.
