Hampton, Ord to wed June. 22

Mr. and Mrs. James N. Hampton of Hartselle are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Joan Hampton, to Colton Jay Nunez Ord of Huntsville. Colton is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford J. Ord of Decatur.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Ms. Amanda Kolb and the late Mr. Roy Kolb of Jackson, Mississippi, and the late Mr. and Mrs. James E. Hampton of Hartselle.

She is a 2014 graduate of Hartselle High School. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Business Administration. She is a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority as well as Beta Alpha Psi. She will complete her Master of Accountancy degree in May while working toward completing the requirements for CPA certification.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Faye Anderson and the late Kenneth Anderson of Decatur, the late Patricia Ord of Pascagoula, Mississippi, the late Johnny Ord of Mobile and Judy Ord of Mobile.
He is a 2013 graduate of Hartselle High school and was a member of the 2013 State Championship baseball team. He is a 2018 graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently employed by The Boeing Company in Huntsville as a mechanical and structural engineer.

The wedding is planned for June 22, 2019, at West Hartselle Baptist Church in Hartselle.
