Funeral for Jean Knox Mooney, 76, of Hartselle was Saturday, May 10, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral home Chapel with the Rev. A. Ray Lee officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
Mrs. Mooney died Friday, May 9, 2003, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Nov. 9, 1926, in Morgan County to Homer Hunter Boger and Lola Irene Tidwell Boger. She was a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church. She was the mother of the late Ricky Knox.
She is survived by one son, Lamar Knox of Hartselle; one brother, Hewlett Boger of Albertville; two sisters, Ima Hughes and Jackie Stiles, both of Hartselle; five grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mitchel Hughes, Mike Garnett, Chris Garnett, Steve Boger, Dustin Garnett, Marty Garnett, Joseph Owens and Jonathan Alred.
