James Coy Rascoe

Funeral for James Coy Rascoe, 61, of Decatur was Wednesday, May 7, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jimmy Legg and Charles Miller officiating.
Burial was in Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Cullman County,
Mr. Rascoe died Monday, May 5, 2003, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born September 23, 1941 in Cullman County to Dewitt H. Rascoe and Sibyl Miller Rascoe. He was retired from Monsanto Chemical after 35 years of service and retired from Decatur Army National Guard after 20 years. He was the son of the late Dewitt H. Rascoe.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Akins Rascoe of Decatur; two sons, Keith Rascoe of Hueytown and Jeff Rascoe of Hartselle; his mother, Sibyl Miller Rascoe of Baileyton; five brothers, Bobby Rascoe, Buck Rascoe and Berry Rascoe, all of Baileyton, Terry Rascoe of Crane Hill and Glennis Roscoe of Cullman; three sisters, Marzie Carroll of Joppa, Linda Johnson of Vinemont and Jo Ann Grimmett of Cullman; four grandchildren, Jacob Rascoe, Jasmine Rascoe, Shelby Rascoe and Jorja Rascoe.
Pallbearers were Terry Johnson and nephews.
