Funeral for Sharon Kay Phillips, 51, was Sat., April 8, 2017 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Hartselle,  with Bro. Toby Chastain officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial was Sun., April 9 at 4 p.m. Eastern time at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Tennessee.

Ms. Phillips died on Tues., April 4, 2017 at her residence. She was born Oct. 31, 1965, in Greensboro, NC. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Hartselle. She attended Jacksonville State University, was an avid supporter of Hartselle Athletics and was a member of the Quarterback Club. Sharon was an avid Auburn fan. She was a Super Mom.

She died doing what she did best….. taking care of her children.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Scott Crane.

Survivors include a son, Tyler Phillips of Hartselle; two daughters, Haley Victoria Phillips of Hartselle and Morgan Rae Phillips of Hartselle; her father, James Alton Crane, Jr.  (Patti) of Dalton, Ga.; her mother, Dottie Oslin (Ron) of Chattanooga, Tenn. and three sisters, Missy Wright of Ga., Angel Crane of Tenn. and Lori Gordan of Tenn.

Pallbearers were Tyler Phillips, Wesley Hendrix, Hinton Hendrix, Ethan Hendrix, Easton Chenault, Deacon Aldridge and Thomas Fleischman.
