SUMMERFORD REHAB AND NURSING HOME ENJOYS VALENTINE GIFTS

Amy Williams sponsor of the Danville High School Future Business Leaders of America and her group delivered Valentine bags of candy and cards to the residents at Summerford Rehab and Nursing Home on Tue., Feb. 14. Everyone really appreciated their thoughtfulness and enjoyed the “goodies.”

The Members of Shady Grove Baptist Church express Christian love and heartfelt prayers for the following who are on the church prayer list, Church Recovery Team and all of the students each morning at 7 a.m. for their safety and spiritual awakening and the TeamKid leaders, others on the prayer list include Jenna Berry, John Haynes, Jerry Reynolds, Robert Hurley, Minnie Payne, Sharon Riggs, Ruby Self, Janet King, Karen Moore, J.W.Blackwood, Denise Brackeen, Dennis Olive, Sidney Woznicki, Christine McLamb, Robert and Bertha Self, Bari Camper, Connie Campbell, Shirley Bibb, Barbara LeMay, Mike Segars, Randy Lewis, Diane Young, Linda Yancy and also Penny Buckalew.

Shady Grove Baptist Church Members remember in loving memory this week Addie Mae “Ruby” Hill from Feb. 15, 1920 till Sep. 1, 1992, Quinton Yarbrough from Feb. 18, 1909 till March 17, 1999, Mary Sue Thompson from Feb. 19, 1907 till Oct. 3, 2003 and also Junior Taylor from Feb. 29, 1932 till Jan. 6, 2015.

Christian love and heartfelt prayers go out this week for Elsie Pike, Linda Smith Clemons, Essie Harris, Billy Don Eaton, David Buckalew, Paulette Wilhite and Hoyt Johnson.

I want to express really special welcome home good wishes this week for my friend, Kay Farrer who returned home from Summerford Rehab on Thur., Feb. 23. Kay has been in Rehab recovering from a recent fall. I hope and pray Kay, that all of your days are filled with God’s blessings and lots of smiles and sunshine. You are greatly cared about by your family and your many friends in the Hartselle and surrounding areas.

The Members of Shady Grove Baptist Church express Christian love and heartfelt prayers this week for all of our Police Officers and Firefighters, School Teachers and also the following Soldiers and their families, they are Josh Hutchinson-Marines, Alan Dugger, South Korea, Justen Terry-Navy, Andy LaFavor-Navy, Jeremy White-Navy, Anthony Thomas, Shane Parker-New Zealand, Josh Fagan-South Korea, Bryant Spears-Marines, Lee Thompson, Brad Wallace and God bless all of our Troops and their families and “GOD BLESS AMERICA” .
