Hartselle Enquirer

Sports freelancers needed

Caleb Suggs

Hartselle Enquirer

The Hartselle Enquirer is looking for freelance writers to cover and write about local high school sports. If you are a young high school/college student who is interested in or studying journalism, or an adult who wants to help get coverage for a certain school, this is a great opportunity for you. Writers will be responsible for attending certain sports events and then writing a 300-600-word recap for that event to be submitted for the print and online publications of the Hartselle Enquirer. Schools that a writer might be assigned to attend are Hartselle, Danville, Falkville, Brewer, Priceville and West Morgan. Sports that writers could be responsible for covering are basketball, baseball, softball and soccer among others. If you are not interested in writing, but would like to take photos, photographers are also needed. Writers and photographers will be given a pass to get into these events for free. If you are interested or would like to ask more questions please contact Caleb Suggs at caleb.suggs@hartselleenquirer.com.
