The Bryant family hosted the William and Betty Morris family Christmas party on Dec. 10 at Gandy’s Cove United Methodist Church. The fellowship hall was decorated beautifully. The Bryant’s served a wonderful meal and other family members furnished salads and desserts.

Games were played for adults and children with lots of singing and so many fond memories shared. Everyone had a wonderful time and returned home safely. Several members were unable to attend due to illness.

Kabri and Scarlett Graham, Sandy and Caleb Fields, Becky Johnson, Max and Dana Schrimsher; Cullman–Baxter and Glenda Bryant, Jason, Caroline and Elizabeth Moody; Birmingham–Brent, Meredith, Madeline and Bryant Panel, Rex Slate and Val Johnson; Montgomery– Trevor and Kayla Turner; Murfreesboro, Tenn.—Ross Woodard; Foley—Beth and Miles Sheehan; Boston—Anna Laura Sheehan; Florence—Bonnie McDaniel; Elkmont—Frank, Brooklyn, Rick, Laura and Fowler Dougherty.

Mt. Zion Baptist choir presented “The Miracle in A Manger.” Soloists were Morgan Ratliff “On this Silent Night” and Tracy Ward “Sweet Child of Mercy.” The final was “It’s a time for Joy.” Lighting of the Advent candle was done during the program.

Adell Gibson celebrated Christmas with a dinner t her home. Guest were her children and their children. Wayne and Gail Howard, Lavon Gibson, Melina Stafford, Maddie and Gil, Terry and Tracy Randolph, Hailey Eaton, Lance and Lexie and baby and Randolph and Jonathan Dodd.

Carl and Shelia wood of Blountsville, Keith and Christy Huffstutter and Justin Huffstutter of Vinemont, Wilma Depreast of Hartselle, Ray and Betty Sanders, Kathy Gray and Karen Shears, all of Falkville have returned from a 10 day tour of Columbia, Costa Rica and Panama Canal Zone.
