Funeral for Jeanette Elnora (Blondie) Morris, 89, of Hartselle was Tues., Jan. 3, at 2 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Campbell and the Rev. Jack Bailey officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Morris died Sun., January 1, 2017, at her residence.  She was born Feb. 25, 1927, in Morgan County to Alfred Lawson Carroll and Jeanettie Hinkle Carroll.  Mrs. Morris was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 62 years, Odis Morris.
She is survived by a son, Billy Morris (Donna) of Neel; two daughters, Beverly Cochrane (Gerald) of Hartselle and Tracey Callahan (Kelvin) of Neel; nine grandchildren, Erica Steelman (Mike), Tara Segars (Scott), Jerry Cochrane, Kimberly, Keri and Lance Callahan and
Lori, Matt and Leslie Morris; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Chris Byrd, Hank Little, Anthony Shaneyfelt, Tommy
Spinks, Greg Taylor and Steve Terry.
