Joseph Roy Lyell

A private service was held for Joseph Roy Lyell Wed., Dec. 28, at Pine Torch Church in Bankhead Forest with arrangements made by Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Lyell died at his home on Dec. 23, 2016, after losing his battle with cancer. Mr. Lyell was a Life member of the Masonic Lodge and a devout Christian who loved the Lord. He was retired from Blaw Knox Company of Ohio.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Lyell;a sister, Wanda Stokes of Tennessee; and a brother, Jack Lyell of Texas. Mr. Lyell also had numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren.
