The women of Mt. Zion Baptist Church held their Christmas covered dish dinner at the church December 19. The tables were spread with Christmas wreaths and candles.

A group from First Baptist Church Falkville went Christmas caroling. After the caroling they went to the church for hot chocolate and cookies.

Members of Falkville Public Library board, Tina Rogers, Rhona Summerford, Kay Farrer, Pamela McDonald, Jane Hill and Jenny Asherbranner, librarian, wish to thank their patrons for their support.

Members of Falkville Senior Center were in Decatur December 14 to attend the annual Morgan County Senior Center Christmas party, The party was held at Turner Styles Center. Attending from the local center was Martha Asherbranner, Carol Cole, Joe Collins, Adell Gibson, Eugene Green, Judy McCellan, Robert Morris, Charles and Linda Williams, Mary Wilson Larock, Jackie Turney and Barbara Asherbranner. The group won third place in the table decoration contest.
