After a rough start to the season, the Hartselle Lady Tigers turned it around to win their last three straight over West Morgan, Florence and Cullman. The Lady Tigers were hoping to add another win against the Decatur Red Raiders.

Hartselle jumped out to a quick 10-4 lead behind baskets from Anna Mathis and Moriah Taylor. Decatur tried to close the gap but another basket from Taylor and a three pointer from Madison Lawler gave the Tigers a 15-7. Alley Mayfield added another three as Hartselle kept a 18-11 lead at the end if the first half.

Anna Mathis started the second half off big with five points to make the lead 23-11. Taylor added to the lead with a three pointer to make it 26-11. Decatur responded with a 6-0 run but a three pointer by Lindsay Berry kept the Tigers ahead. Taylor and Kalli Cartee added baskets as Hartselle kept a 33-21 lead into the fourth quarter.

In the fourth quarter the game became the Moriah Taylor show. Taylor tallied 13 points in the quarter as Hartselle pulled away from the Red Raiders. Hartselle defeated Decatur 51-39 to earn their fourth straight win and moved to 4-2 on the season.
