Donald Lee Parker

Funeral for Donald Lee Parker, 62, of Somerville will be Sat., April 9, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Carl Cash officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be Fri., April 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Parker died Wed., April 6, 2016, at Crestwood Medical Center. He was born Oct. 28, 1953, in Morgan County to James Curtis Parker and Zeritha Karleen Vandiver Parker. He was an Iron worker, a construction worker and a home builder. He was employed by Universal Construction. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by a daughter, Donna Davis (Eric) of New Hope; three brothers, Kelly Wallace of Charlotte, NC, Allen Vest (Felicia) of Hartselle and Bobby Vest of Decatur; two sisters, Freida Layton (Don) of Danville and Linda Herndon of Decatur; and one grandchild, Alivia Davis.

Pallbearers will be Alan Harris, Joe Harris, Steven Staggs, Carl Martin, Rex Segars and Eric Davis.
