Thank you Jacob’s Animal Clinic

I want to say a special thank you this week to Dr. Jacob of Jacob’s Animal Clinic, located on 17241, Hwy. 33 in Moulton for the wonderful care that he gave to my dog/child who is part of my family. Dr. Jacob was so nice and caring and when your dog is sick that really means a lot.

Christian love and heartfelt prayers go out this week for Jeff Reid at Brookwood Medical Center Coronary Care in Birmingham. God bless you Jeff.

A 50th wedding anniversary celebration was held Sun., March 6, in the fellowship hall at Shady Grove Baptist Church for Waymon and Jo Ann Alexander. Congratulations Waymon and JoAnn.

Happy wedding anniversary wishes go out this week to Jim and Monica Doherty as they celebrated their 26th anniversary on March 3, Greg and Pam Holmes as they will celebrate their anniversary on March 17, on St. Patrick’s Day, Joe and Stoshia Logan as they celebrate their 22nd anniversary on March 19, and Joseph and Kayla Thomas as they celebrate their 6th anniversary on March 20.

Corinth West Baptist Women’s group met Sun., March 6, at 10 a.m. with GayNell Wilhite giving the devotional on the 23rd Psalm. She talked about the meaning of each verse and led the prayer for the sick and shut-ins. The women also planned the menu for Senior Citizens Day to be held on March 15. They will have ham and Easter potluck on April 6.Christie Guthrie served apple cake and a fruit tray and scones and Dana Henslee served juice.

GayNell Wilhite will be honored on April 10, following the morning worship service for her 80th birthday. There will be cake and ice cream for everyone. Congratulations GayNell.

The Annual Women’s Conference will be held in June with more details to be announced later.

Special belated happy birthday wishes go out this week for Martha Howse Bickham on March 11.

The Week of Prayer for North American Missions or the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering was held March 6-13 with the theme being Here I am: Send me, Isaiah 6:8.

Belated happy birthday wishes go out this week to Alli Parker on March 1, Noah Maltbie on March 2, Bentley Vest on March 3, Madeline Pittman on March 5, John Mark Sapp on March 8, Stephen Camper on March 9, Levonia Gillott, Kelly McLamb and Jordan Nesmith on March 10, Jacob Bowling and Addison Hollis on March 11, Nick Alred on March 12 and Reeslyn Riggs on March 15.

Happy birthday wishes also go out this week for Marsha Roberts and Gunner Alvis on March 18.
