Nichols, Bennett to wed

Roger and Suzanne Nichols of Hartselle are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Deborah Faith Nichols to Cody Montgomery Bennett, son of Craig and Anita Bennett of Montevallo.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Anne Dodge of Auburn and Ted and LuVerne Dodge of Mobile and the late Neil Nichols and Geneva Nichols of Northport.

She is a 2009 graduate of Hartselle High School and a graduate of the University of Montevallo with a degree in fine arts in graphic design. She is the head graphic designer for Fast Signs in Hoover, a free-lance artist with Deborah Faith Designs; and a volunteer missionary with e3 Partners Ministry.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Robert Earl Brantley and Hildegard Brantley and Gloria Bennett and the late Bruce Montgomery Bennett.

He is a 2010 graduate of Montevallo High School and is still attending the University of Montevallo.

He will graduate in May with a bachelor’s degree in speech and language pathology. He is an alumnus of Alpha Kappa Lambda Fraternity; member of Best Buddies; volunteer at Aaron’s Staff RESPITE Care Ministries; tutor for Student Support Services-ASPIRE program at the University of Montevallo; third year participant in College Night; former Montevallo Master, member of Phil Kappa Phi Honor Society, and a member of the Montevallo Communication Science and Disorder Sigma Alpha Phi Honor Society.

The wedding is set for June 18, 2016, at 6 p.m. at the University of Montevallo.
