A graveside service for Kathie L Hitt, 65, of Hartselle will be Sat., Feb. 20, at 3 p.m. at Burningtree Memorial Gardens with Pastor Brian McLaughlin officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.

Mrs. Hitt died Thurs., Feb. 18, 2016, at her residence. She was born July 26, 1950, in Lawrence County to Ford J.M. Parker and Katie Pearl Alexander. Mrs. Hitt was a Phlebotomist for Decatur Morgan Parkway Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Kerry Tyler; two brothers, Don and Joe Parker; and a sister, Vickie Williams.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Wayne Hitt of Hartselle; a son, Timothy Tyler (Carrie) of Decatur; two stepsons, Michael Hitt (Mindi) and Patrick Hitt (Ashley); a step-daughter, Jennifer Tillery (Ryan); a brother, Dean Parker of Eva; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be David Mason, Wes Massey, Josh Myers, Michael Hitt, Patrick Hitt and Dayton Mason.

Honorary pallbearer will be Dean Parker.
